The idea began in 2016 out of a personal struggle to find clothing made in Canada.

As proud Canadians, we were disappointed when we learned that so many companies outsource and produce abroad. Many major labels are outsourced these days to poorly-regulated factories in countries with minimal working standards. There is so much talent and potential in our own country that we believe should be valued and put to good use, so that's exactly what we do. Every sale makes a statement in support of these craftsmen. By supporting the talent around us we become economically and environmentally conscious producers and consumers. We are not made in China; we are made in Canada. We do not have an overseas help center; your e-mails and phone calls to Wolfe Co. will be answered by the very people whose blood, sweat, and tears went into the making of this business. We do not mass produce; we rely heavily on small family businesses across Canada who are invested in the idea of a truly Canadian brand. We do not sell for a profit; we sell Wolfe Co. to spread an idea and to spread the love for our country.
